The evening was a celebration of our Rotary Club’s relationship with Epping Boys High School.
Our Youth Director, Anne Robinson introduced Jonathon Mullins and Chris Wilden, the two students who participated in this year’s RYPEN, which was delivered on Zoom over two successive weekends. Jonathon and Chris delivered a professional presentation about their work and presented to us a model of a solar lamp they created as part of the program, which will be delivered to a third world country where electricity is not reliable.
Then followed a Q&A session with Jessica Schadel, the Relieving Principal of the school. Bruce asked the questions as Jessica impressed us all with her wonderful eloquence and clarity of vision. It was ipressibel to learn that the school spends $300,000 a year on their Wellbeing program which aims to get the best our over every student at the school It was an excellent interview!
